The triple room with a private entrance and soundproofing was just awesome! It made me feel like I had my own little world where I could relax and unwind. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially during the hot days.

Although the twin/double room with a patio was nice, I personally prefer having a balcony. But hey, that's just my personal preference!

Our stay at Search House exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, right on the beach, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner even took us to different surf spots every day. we highly recommend staying here for a trip to Florianopolis.

Nice pool and outdoor seating area. Close to supermarket and shops. Various trips organized, including a hike to secluded beach.

The Search House was excellent value for money, the room was comfortable and the location was perfect. The staff treated us with great respect and kindness, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with more variety and options.

Great location, right on the beachfront. It was amazing to be able to step out of the hostel and be just a few steps away from the beach. the facilities were impressive. the hostel had a spacious kitchen and common areas, which were perfect for hanging out and meeting other guests. - the staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English, which made communication much easier.

The dorm bathroom wasn't cleaned regularly, which was quite disappointing. It would have been nice to have a clean and tidy bathroom every day.

I stayed at The Search House for over a month and it was perfect for solo travelers like me. The place is amazing, with a clean pool, ping-pong table, and even a skate ramp! The beautiful beach of Barra is right in front, just a step away from the hostel. The accommodation facilities are great, with plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and the bar serves delicious food at good prices. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, making you feel like part of the family. There are also great events and activities, perfect for meeting people from all over the world. If you're into sports, there's plenty to do like surfing, hiking, yoga, and capoeira. I enjoyed everything about my stay, and it truly felt like a home away from home.

I had a great Easter getaway at this hostel! the rooms and amenities were well-maintained and clean. the location was fantastic, just steps away from the beach and a short walk to a local supermarket. the hostel had a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of areas to relax and socialize. the bar/restaurant served delicious food, and the pool was a refreshing bonus on hot days.

The lack of dedicated workspace for those needing to work remotely. Although there were various areas available, it was often challenging to concentrate with the music playing and people enjoying themselves nearby.
